Chai Lifeline Moms Enjoy Day at Teddie Kossof Salon and Spa
May, 18th, 2008
Teddie Kossof is an accomplished entrepreneur who has not let success
go to his head—but rather to his heart. On Sunday, May, 18th, 2008
Mr. Kossof, in conjunction with Dr. Tal Raine, President and Medical
Director of Refine 360 LLC Luxury Laser Boutiques, and Brenda Bendel
Limited Skin Care Salon and Make-Up Studio, will open the famed Teddie
Kossof Salon, Spa and Wellness Center in Northfield, IL to the mothers
of Chai Lifeline Midwest.
Chai Lifeline provides supports
to the families
of children with
life-threatening illnesses.
Chai Lifeline is the international organization
that provides emotional and social support to the families of children
with life-threatening illnesses or serious chronic and genetic conditions.
The post-Mothers’ Day
event is designed to refresh the minds, spirits, and bodies of mothers,
who are generally the primary caregivers for their ill child, and to
encourage them to take time for themselves.
“When a child gets sick, a mother’s time is no longer her
own. Too often, moms tell us that they haven’t left their child’s
side for more than a few hours since the diagnosis. However, in order
for them to take care of others, they need to take care of themselves.
Thanks to the graciousness of Teddie and Alan Kossof, Chai Lifeline moms
will have the opportunity to do just that,” said Shlomo Crandall,
director of Midwest regional operations.
From the moment they enter the salon, mothers
will be enveloped in the warmth of the day. Each mother will have her
choice of services, including hair consultation & styling, mini massages & make-up application,
manicures & pedicures, and relaxing mini face-lifts & the reiki
experience.
In additional to personal pampering, mothers will have the opportunity
to participate in relaxing group sessions. Dr. Tal Raine will discuss
The Connection between the Inner and Outer Self; Catherine Johns will
lead Positive Changes Stress Reduction; and Elana Greengus will lead
guided Yoga and Meditation.
