It's the ultimate in North Shore Valentine's Day. And it ain't too
shabby for that last-minute gift.
When she opens up this certificate, she knows
the man in her life really cares about her.
"When she opens up this certificate, she knows the man in her
life really cares about her," said Alan Kossof, of the Teddie Kossof
Salon, Spa & Wellness Center.
Indeed. Spending 10K may seem like a lot for a Valentine's Day gift,
but salon owner Teddie Kossof says it's the gift that keeps on giving.
The salon will also donate $1,000 to a charity of your choice for every
certificate sold.
So far, only one has been rung up. "If you were to go on a trip
around the world, sure it would provide great memories, but this gift
is something that you will live with everyday and experience it," said
Kossof, who has worked his cutting skills on celebs including Sarah Furguson,
Mary Tyler Moore, Maya Angelou, and Lauren Bacall.
But don't think that $10,000 will get you a lifetime of haircuts or
shampoos at the trendy facility. At the unique, all-in-one center, thousands
of dollars can be spent in a matter of hours on facials, cosmetic surgery
and teeth whitening.
There is some good news for those looking for a cheaper Valentine's
Day gift. The salon offers gift certificates in other denominations as
well.
But should a women be offended by a gift of a makeover?
"I don't think so," said Teddie Kossof. "It's
the ultimate in pampering for someone and should be viewed as a compliment." |
